Individual Counseling:
Individual therapy sessions provides you a confidential setting to talk not only about your concerns, difficulties, and traumas but also transitions and personal goals you have for your own future. Within individual therapy we can work to help you control symptoms that are negatively impacting your life while providing coping strategies to help with life’s difficulties.
Typically, people attend sessions weekly or every other week where you’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns, learn problem-solving skills, and discover your strengths. Every person’s situation is unique. Some people attend a few sessions, while others attend sessions for a longer timeframe. We’ll work together to create a plan that helps you reach your personal goals.
Telehealth/Virtual Appointments:
I am able to provide telehealth counseling for clients who are within NC but not within driving distance, or for those times when meeting from home virtually works best with your schedule. I utilize a HIPAA compliant online platform and am happy to answer questions about this format. My clients have greatly enjoyed the flexibility of having virtual sessions as an option.
